5.The Aam Aadmi Party will hold nationwide protests Monday against the arrest of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor excise policy case. The party will also stage protests at the BJP headquarters in the national capital around 12 pm, news agency ANI reported. Sisodia was arrested by the CBI after eight hours of questioning Sunday. In a statement, the investigating agency’s spokesperson said that the Delhi Deputy CM gave evasive replies and did not cooperate with the investigation despite being confronted with evidence to the contrary.-Times of India

6.Weeks after the culmination of the Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra, the party has announced plans for a fresh march - this time from east to west. 8.In a first, the Irinjadappilly Sri Krishna Temple in Kerala's Thrissur district used a mechanical, life-like elephant for performing rituals. The elephant was gifted to the temple by PETA India with the support of actor Parvathy Thiruvothu.The iconic life-like mechanical elephant, named Irinjadapilly Raman, is 10-and-a half feet in height while 800 kg is the weight. 10.The FSSAI has issued a direction for keeping in abeyance the compliance of quality parameters related to ‘Alcoholic Acidity’ and ‘Total Dietary Fiber’ in bajra flour (pearl millet flour), jowar flour (sorghum flour), multigrain flour (atta) and mixed milletflour.“As data submitted by stakeholders is under examination, the date of enforcement of provision (alcoholic acidity and total dietary fibre) in the direction dated 27.07.2022 is further extended for a period of 6 months till 30.06.2023,” reads the direction issued by FSSAI.-fnbnews.com

Quad countries call for end in violence in Ukraine, Gaza, and Myanmar .-The Quadrilateral partnership consisting of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States intends to expand the Indo-Pacific Partnership for Maritime Domain Awareness (IPMDA) into the Indian Ocean Region, the Foreign Ministers of the four member countries announced on Monday in Tokyo.
