1.British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on March 27 launched a new Anti-Social Behaviour Action Plan to crack down on illegal activities within communities by handing additional powers to the police to punish drug-related offences and criminal gang activity.Under the new Immediate Justice scheme, those found committing anti-social behaviour will be made to repair the damage they inflicted on victims and communities, with an ambition for them to start work as soon as 48 hours after their offence.-thehindu.com

2.The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said that it is wrong to assume that fired workers who hold H1B visa have to leave the country within 60 days. 3.China spent $240 billion bailing out 22 developing countries between 2008 and 2021, with the amount soaring in recent years as more have struggled to repay loans spent building "Belt & Road" infrastructure, according to a study published Tuesday.Almost 80% of the rescue lending was made between 2016 and 2021, mainly to middle-income countries including Argentina, Mongolia and Pakistan, according to the report by researchers from the World Bank, Harvard Kennedy School, AidData and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.-ndtv.com

4.The tumultuous budget session of Parliament might conclude on Tuesday or Wednesday as there’s no end in sight for daily protests and disruptions, people familiar with the matter said. 6.Retirement fund body EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation) fixed 8.15 per cent  rate of interest on employees' provident fund (EPF) deposits for 2022-23 at its  meeting today.In March 2022, EPFO had lowered the interest on EPF for 2021-22 to an over four-decade low of 8.1 per cent for its about five crore subscribers, from 8.5 per cent in 2020-21.-ndtv.com

7.A total of 610 cases of Covid's XBB.1.16 variant, which might have been behind the recent rise in coronavirus cases, have been detected across the country, according to INSACOG data. The samples have been found across 11 states and Union Territories.The highest number of Covid cases caused due to this variant has been found in Maharashtra and Gujarat at 164 each, followed by 93 Telangana and 86 in Karnataka, according to INSACOG data.-thehindu.com

8.The first phase of Navi Mumbai airport will begin operations by end 2024 and have capacity to handle two crore passengers annually, said Arun Bansal, CEO, Adani Airports.“After completion of phase one in December 2024, the remaining phases will be implemented over the next 15 years subject to passenger availability and external connectivity,” he said at CAPA’s India Aviation Summit here.- thehindu.com

Quad countries call for end in violence in Ukraine, Gaza, and Myanmar .-The Quadrilateral partnership consisting of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States intends to expand the Indo-Pacific Partnership for Maritime Domain Awareness (IPMDA) into the Indian Ocean Region, the Foreign Ministers of the four member countries announced on Monday in Tokyo.
