4.An earthquake of 5.0 magnitude hit the Nicobar Islands region on Monday around 5 am, according to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS). 6.At least 40 customers of a private bank in Mumbai were cheated of lakhs of rupees within three days after they clicked on a link sent via fake text messages to update their KYC and PAN details.The Know Your Customer (KYC) process is mandatory for bank customers to verify their identity.In an advisory, Mumbai Police has cautioned citizens against clicking on such links asking bank customers for their confidential details.-ndtv.com

Quad countries call for end in violence in Ukraine, Gaza, and Myanmar .-The Quadrilateral partnership consisting of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States intends to expand the Indo-Pacific Partnership for Maritime Domain Awareness (IPMDA) into the Indian Ocean Region, the Foreign Ministers of the four member countries announced on Monday in Tokyo.
