1.US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Wednesday that he expects to "work well" with China's new foreign minister, after previous incumbent Qin Gang was abruptly removed from office."I've also known Wang Yi for more than a decade. 2.On July 24, Israel's parliament approved a significant law as part of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's controversial plan to overhaul the nation's justice system. 3.The government will release two commemorative coins of ₹100 and ₹75 to mark India's G20 presidency. According to a gazette notification issued on July 24, the commemorative ₹100 coin will bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend Satyamev Jayate in Devnagari on its obverse side.It will also be flanked on the left periphery with the word 'Bharat' in Devnagari script and on the right periphery with the word 'India' in English.-hindustantimes.com

4.The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has encouraged India to remove export restrictions on non-basmati rice. The Indian government on July 20 banned the export of non-basmati white rice to boost domestic supply and keep retail prices under check during the upcoming festive season, which constitutes about 25% of the total rice export of the country.- https://www.livemint.com/

6.The IMF on Tuesday projected a growth rate of 6.1 per cent for India in 2023, which is a 0.2 percentage point upward revision compared with the April projection. 7.The India Meteorological Department has issued 'red' alert in Raigad, Pune, Satara and Ratnagiri districts for 26th July. Moreover, an Orange alert has been issued in Mumbai, Palghar and Thane. The weather department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall and issued an orange alert for six districts of Maharashtra till July 27. The weather department noted that Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudrug, Pune, Kolhapur and Satara districts will receive heavy to heavy rainfall till July 27.- https://www.livemint.com/
