Amid the hostilities in the Middle East between Israel and Lebanon based Hezbollah militant group, reports have emerged that both the warring factions are on cusp of a ceasefire deal, according to Axios which quoted two senior Israeli officials and two US officials.

COP29 triples climate finance to $300 billion a year, India says “disappointed”, “cannot accept.- Completely ignoring the demands of the developing nations for mobilisation of at least 1.3 trillion dollars a year in climate finance, the developed countries managed to force an agreement at the COP29 meeting in Baku, promising to put together just 300 billion dollars a year, that too from 2035.

They also faked the so-called digital arrest. There has been a notable increase in the amount of “digital arrest” scams in the country over the past few months. During the 115th episode of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the issue and urged people to be aware about the psychological pressure tactics used by fraudsters.

Quad countries call for end in violence in Ukraine, Gaza, and Myanmar .-The Quadrilateral partnership consisting of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States intends to expand the Indo-Pacific Partnership for Maritime Domain Awareness (IPMDA) into the Indian Ocean Region, the Foreign Ministers of the four member countries announced on Monday in Tokyo.
