US President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order withdrawing Washington from a number of United Nations bodies, including its Human Rights Council , and setting up a broader review of US funding for the multilateral organization. Gender equality will become central to Australia's foreign policy, diplomacy, trade and aid programmers under a new international strategy, Foreign Minister Penny Wong said on Wednesday in Canberra.Gender equality is a "stronger predictor of peace than a nation's wealth or political system", Wong said in a speech at a U.N.  Indian Illegal Immigrants in US: A United States military plane carrying deported Indian migrants is on the way to India. The C-17 aircraft carrying 205 Indian nationals departed from San Antonio, Texas, around 3 am IST on Tuesday (February 4). US President Donald Trump won the recent election on the plank of cracking down on illegal immigration, and has been vigorously pursuing this ever since he took office. Illegal immigrants are being deported by the planeload, including, significantly, on military planes.

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj today. He will take a holy dip at the sacred Triveni Sangam after reaching Prayagraj at around 10:30 am. Mahakumbh commenced on January 13 (Paush Purnima) and will continue till February 26. It is the world's largest spiritual and cultural gathering, attracting devotees from across the globe.
