4.Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), the Tata Group’s hospitality subsidiary and the parent of Taj Hotels, has acquired an additional stake in its wholly owned subsidiary, ELEL Hotels and Investments Ltd, for INR 165.02 Crore.

2.In a major diplomatic victory for India, the United States has designated The Resistance Front (TRF), a Pakistan-backed proxy of Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT), as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT). External affairs minister S Jaishankar on Friday welcomed the move, calling it a "strong affirmation" of counterterrorism cooperation.

3.Indore has once again emerged as India's cleanest city, securing the top spot in the Swachh Survekshan 2024–25 for the eighth consecutive year.The results of the Central government's annual cleanliness survey were announced in New Delhi, where President Droupadi Murmu conferred the awards at a ceremony organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs at Vigyan Bhawan.Surat and Navi Mumbai followed Indore, grabbing second and third positions, respectively, reaffirming their strong performance in urban sanitation.

4.Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), the Tata Group’s hospitality subsidiary and the parent of Taj Hotels, has acquired an additional stake in its wholly owned subsidiary, ELEL Hotels and Investments Ltd, for INR 165.02 crore. The company purchased 330,043 equity shares at an issue price of INR 5,000 per share through a rights issue, according to a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
