5.The July 9 deadline for a mini trade deal between India and the US has passed and the US has deferred the deadline to August 1 while the next round of talks over the ongoing tariff dispute is set to begin in Washington.It is learnt that a team of Indian officials is set to visit Washington for the next round of negotiations, next week. The two sides would focus on an interim deal favouring both sides.
