 1.MUMBAI: Phase 1 of the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is likely to be inaugurated on September 30 by PM Narendra Modi, who is already scheduled to be in the city for the opening of the Worli-Cuffe Parade stretch of Metro Line 3. According to urban development department officials, though two metro stations, Kalbadevi and Girgaon, are not yet ready, two of the four entry/exits will be opened after the inauguration.

3.India joined the Russian-led Zapad-2025 military exercises, sending 65 personnel to the five-day drills, a move that has drawn attention amid strained ties with the United States. 5.The Ministry of Finance, through its frequently asked questions, has reiterated that hotels with room rates up to Rs 7,500 will not have input tax credit (ITC) under the 5 per cent GST slab.“Suppliers of hotel accommodation service where the value of a unit of accommodation is less than or equal to Rs 7,500 per unit per day shall have to charge GST at 5 per cent without ITC on such units.
