10.Worm in airline food: FSSAI convenes meeting with caterers

discovery of worm in food served to an onboard passenger of an airline, the
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has convened a meeting
with leading flight caterers and airlines here on Tuesday. The meeting
was called to assess, evaluate and enhance the existing food safety protocols
within the airline catering industry.
According to FSSAI, the objective was to identify areas requiring
improvement and to reinforce the commitment to providing passengers with safe
and high-quality inflight meals.
