4.Centre plans to launch online platform to facilitate overseas trade.: The central government will launch an online platform called Trade Connect by May to facilitate overseas trade and help the country to achieve its target of $2 trillion in outbound shipments by 2030, commerce ministers Piyush Goyal announced on Tuesday at the second meeting of the reconstituted Board of Trade held at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. he new board, constituted by merging the Council for Trade Development and Promotion with it, advises the government on policy measures connected with trade. Its first meeting was held on September 13, 2022.
5.Union Minister Nitin Gadkari asks auto industry to invest in driver training to improve road safety.;Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Monday urged the auto industry to invest in driver training centres to help improve road safety in the country as well as to address the issue of driver shortage.“This is the most important problem where we need your cooperation. We require automobile manufacturers to open driver training centres and offer courses. The Ministry of Skill Development will certify you so that you can train people,” the Minister said at a Confederation of Indian Industry’s national conclave on road safety.

Kisan Morcha gives call for rural strike on February 16.: The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), the umbrella organisation
of about 500 farmers’ outfits, has called for grameen
bandh (rural strike) on February 16 against the farm policies of the
Centre.The All India Convention of the SKM, held in Jalandhar on Tuesday, also
decided to seek alternative policies in the farm sector based on production
cooperatives and other people-centric models. The SKM is also holding a meeting
with central trade unions on Wednesday to consider the possibility of an
industrial strike too on February 16.

cancelled and not operating due to fog and other operational reasons from and
to Delhi airport," reports news agency ANI quoting Delhi Airport FIDS

additional 5,000 cabin crew members for its new fleet of Airbus A350s, the
airline announced Tuesday. The airline has said the recruitment push is
designed primarily ‘for those who will soon or have recently stepped into the
world of work', and is inviting fresh graduates with internships or part-time
jobs on their résumés. Applicants must also have at least one year of
hospitality or customer service experience, and a minimum of high school (Grade
12) education. There must be no visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew
uniform.

22nd January, the sacred city is attracting massive interest from hoteliers and
developers. "We have received 25 proposals to set up hotels in
Ayodhya, one of the proposals is to build a pure vegetarian seven-star
hotel," Yogi Adityanath revealed at an event.
