1.Russia and Ukraine will hold new peace talks on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) as a follow-up to two rounds in Istanbul that made little progress on ending their war, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced. 4.The much-awaited launch of NISAR — an earth observation satellite jointly developed by NASA and ISRO — is set to take place on July 30 at 5:40 pm from the country’s only spaceport in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The satellite will be launched on the GSLV-F16 and be put in a 734 km sun synchronous orbit — an orbit in which the satellite reaches over a place at the same time each day.

5.Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), the hospitality arm of the Tata Group and parent of Taj Hotels, has signed a strategic agreement with the Kolkata-based Ambuja Neotia Group to develop 15 new hotels across India.
