1.US President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced a “massive” trade deal with Japan that he said will result in Tokyo investing $550 billion into the United States and paying a 15% reciprocal tariff.In a post on Truth Social, Trump added that Japan will open to trade, including cars, trucks, rice and certain agricultural products. He said the deal would create hundreds of thousands of jobs and that $550 billion of investments would bring 90% profits to the US.

2.The world's most expensive earth observation satellite, NISAR, which has been jointly developed by Nasa and Isro, will be launched after much delay from the Sriharikota spaceport at 5.40pm on July 30, the Indian space agency has said. Both India and the US have been working on the Nasa-Isro SAR Mission (NISAR) for over a decade and it has cost them over $1.5 billion.

5.Tourism soars in Goa: 54 lakh visitors in six months, 95% from within India-The department in a statement said, “January proved to be the strongest month, registering 10.56 lakh tourists, including 9.86 lakh domestic and nearly 70,000 foreign arrivals. February followed with 9.05 lakh tourists, comprising 8.44 lakh domestic and over 61,000 international travellers. March saw a footfall of 8.89 lakh tourists, with 8.32 lakh from within India and around 56,000 from abroad.”
