2.India said on Monday that it had signed a contract with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems to lease two MQ-9B Sea Guardian high-altitude long-endurance drones for the Indian Navy for a period of 30 months at a cost of 19.43 billion rupees ($203 million).

3.Student leader Devendra Nath Mahato thanked the Jharkhand government and Chief Minister Hemant Soren for accepting the students’ demands and said the ongoing probe was targeting those involved in examination irregularities. 4.The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday said it will re-conduct the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) examination for three papers, after “multiple errors” were found in the exam conducted from June 22 to June 30 this year. UGC-NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the posts of Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programmes. In a statement, the NTA said it had formed a committee to oversee several complaints of errors in the English, Commerce and Sociology question papers.
